The Crazy Banana

This fabulous West Indian building in Saint Kitts was actually a hidden café called the ‘Crazy Banana’.

The bold shapes of the tree and my interpretation of the metal fence in front give the painting a strong unapologetic feel to the composition. Although a big and bold painting, the subtle layering of colour and textures create depth and perspective.
